
SYNOPSIS The story is about Patricia, a young woman and her dream. She has a strong desire to succeed in her chosen path of a funeral director. Patricia comes from a family whose religious background is devout. Jake is the man whom she really loves but Jake is not willing commit to any form of a relationship. Jake also wants to succeed in his chosen career of music. Jake rooms with another associate, Ross. Ross is a partier who likes to live on the edge. With her friends help, Amanda, she tries to make Jake jealous by using Ross with disastrous results. THE CAST 
VANESSA CAMERON | BEHIND EVERY BROAD STROKE THERE WAS A HUMAN IDEA - SANFORD MEISNERRecognizing her passion in life came easily. Always finding an audience, whether it be her Barbie's, her mother's dinner guests, or her annoyed siblings she was always in search of someone to watch. After studying acting for film and television in Vancouver, Vanessa moved to New York to develop her craft at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Still trying to find her place in the theatrical world, L.A, N.Y.C, T.O????? follow the yellow brick road. She continues to study and pursue her love for acting.

JULIE LAINE | From a young age, she was a performer, whether it was ballet, playing in a band or putting on plays in her neighbors' garage. At twenty-six, she found herself stuck in a rut as a financial planner in a well-respected firm working 9-5. The acting bug bit her hard and she walked into work and announced she was quitting to follow her dream. She left for Hollywood in a 10 foot motor home with stars in her eyes. It wasn't long before she found herself in acting school in British Columbia and auditioning for TV. Returning to Ontario, she Wrote, Directed, Produced and starred in the critically acclaimed film "Beautiful Horizon". Since then she has written and produced several short films, television episodes and documentaries. She currently resides in Brampton with her two cats plotting her next feature film.

SCOTT STEVENSON | If there was a play in school you could guarantee Scott would be a part of it. Any excuse to be in the spotlight or the center of attention and Scott was there. It therefore came as no surprise that later in life Scott would set his sights on a career in acting. He began as most do in the business as an extra, but soon became obsessed with being a principle character in anything he did. Whether it is a low budget independent film, a big budget feature or TV, show, you can bet your bottom dollar Scott will do what he can to be a part of it.

JAYSON THERRIEN | Jayson is currently living in Calgary taking advantage of the city's booming film industry and feeding his passion for snowboarding. This summer he won roles in 2 features, "Broke Back Mountain" (the cowboy epic by Ang Lee, playing opposite Jake Gyllenhaal), and "Hope's Convenience" (directed by Lonni Olsen & Noel Anderson). As well as three commercials, Shaw Digital Cable, Calgary International Film Festival and McCain's Texas BBQ Pizza. T.V. credits include Discovery Channel's "Forensic Factor", and country music video for Shirley Myers. Last spring Jayson reunited with the stage taking on the role of "Curly" in the award winning production "Of Mice and Men" which opened at the Epcor Centre. DIRECTORS BIO 
DARRIN LA POINTE | DARRIN LA POINTE is a native of Hamilton, Ontario. He is a graduate of the Vancouver Film School. Since his departure from school, Darrin has made several short videos / films and music videos. Darrin went on to complete a feature length film that premiered with terrific reviews in Burlington, Ontario. To date, Darrin is busy writing and working on many projects with Julie Laine of Horizon - Ignition Productions, a union of both production companies.

Steven Lungley | STEPHEN LUNGLEY is by trade a professional photographer with a keen eye for the artistic and dramatic photos. Stephen traded in his camera for another camera when he directed a renown short - HEY KITTY in which he brought his love for the arts to motion photography. He then parleyed that love into taking on a feature film, called EMBALMING LOVE. Stephen is currently busy doing what he loves best, art.
